Wednesday, September 30
I’ll resume from the verified Samson save, plan the next battles ahead, and keep recording as we progress. I’ll reserve time for the finished videos, then save and quit before usage reaches 5% remaining.
The save is intact at 10 badges. I’ll heal first and restore Drapion for travel, then collect Surf at Fiore Mansion. Charlotte’s double battle will need a different plan from Samson’s Swoobat sweep.
Drapion will replace the temporary Boldore slot for travel. For Charlotte, I’m planning to add a Wide Guard user to protect against Eruption and Rock Slide while we set Trick Room; I’m checking the available catches and needed items along the route.
I’m continuing from the saved Samson checkpoint. The recording is running, and I’m preparing the party for the mountain route and Charlotte’s double battle. I’ll leave enough usage to finish the videos and save-quit safely.
The travel team is healed. I’m replacing the temporary Samson setup slot with Drapion, then collecting Surf. For Charlotte, I’m looking at Wide Guard support so her opening spread attacks can’t overwhelm us.
The mountain path leads through Celestinine and Ametrine to Calcenon. I’m also checking the available Heart Scales and field seeds along that route, since those determine whether we can teach Wide Guard and make a reliable Trick Room opening.
The circus’s moving NPCs are interfering with the stored route. I’m tightening the movement checkpoints there, then using longer queued paths again once we’re back on the open route.
I’ve confirmed the key preparation gap: Mienshao can provide Wide Guard, but it needs the move relearner after evolving. I’m collecting it on this route and checking the battle’s field-change behavior before relying on that opening.
There’s an important field interaction: even a blocked Eruption can ignite the field. Wide Guard still stops the damage, but our Trick Room setter must survive Darmanitan’s stronger follow-up. I’m building the opening around that, rather than assuming the field stays superheated.
We’re back on Route 2, with the longer mountain approach queued. The preparation will also be useful for later double battles: a dedicated Wide Guard user gives us more flexibility than trying to outdamage every opening.
Surf is the next story unlock. After that I’ll catch the support Pokémon, cross the mountain, and use the items near Calcenon to finish Charlotte’s preparation before entering her gym.
The party is now back at Fiore Mansion. I’m keeping Swampert’s Ground and Rock attacks for Charlotte and using Surf in its Water slot; the rest of the preparation is focused on getting the first Trick Room turn safely.
Surf has been received. I’m finishing the Fiore scene, then making the move changes and catching Mienfoo. I’m also refining the dialogue helpers so inspected scenes can run in larger, safe batches.
Fiore’s scene is complete and saved. I also verified the quicksave behavior: a short D tap saves, while holding D shows coordinates. I’ll use the short tap for checkpoints, which avoids opening the full save menu.
The recording briefly restarted, and the input guard paused the game controls until capture recovered. No gameplay continued unrecorded. I’m resuming the Surf teaching step from the current menu.
Swampert now has Surf, and Cofagrigus is learning Trick Room over Curse. I’m moving to the grass with Drapion leading for the Mienfoo capture, then I’ll finish the bulk training needed for the double-battle opening.
The mountain has several connected floors and sliding-ice sections. I’m building their route model while the capture approach runs, so the crossing and the later return to the move relearner can be queued reliably.
The capture loop is working through the wild encounters automatically. I’ve also found that this installed version uses different mountain map IDs from the walkthrough, so I’m verifying the connections against the game’s own maps before crossing.
Mienfoo has appeared. I’m weakening it once with Drapion, then capturing it. The mountain route is now mapped, including the diagonal transitions at the edges of the ice puzzles.
Mienfoo was caught on the first ball. I’m putting Ampharos in the PC for this preparation, then rotating the recording at the hour mark. The finished segment will be trimmed, sped up to 4×, and given the appropriate normal-speed music.
Mienfoo is safely caught and stored in the PC. I’m saving that progress and finishing the hourly recording, then I’ll continue through the mountain toward Charlotte. I’ll reserve the last few percent for the videos and a verified save-and-quit.
The catch, Surf, and Trick Room are now saved and backed up. Charlotte’s field can ignite even when Wide Guard blocks an attack, so I’m preparing Cofagrigus to survive that turn and set Trick Room. The recording is being trimmed and given its area music now.
The hour has no missing footage; trimming removes about 29 minutes of pauses before the 4× export. I’ve also mapped the Surf and ice sections so I can queue longer routes while checking the actual position at each stage.
The finished Gym 11 progress video is now in
Desktop/bin/reborn, and recording has resumed. I’m doing three short HP-training battles for Cofagrigus, then taking the mapped mountain route. Mienfoo will join the party at the next PC.Cofagrigus has won the first two training battles and gained the expected HP. Next comes the mountain traversal, followed by Route 3 with Aya; I’ve reviewed those enemy teams and the route to the Heart Scales needed for Wide Guard.
I caught a field interaction during the last training battle: Bulk Up lets Machoke block Shadow Ball completely behind the rocks. I’m ending that encounter and adjusting the training script so it only uses the two safe matchups here.
I’ve adjusted the training loop to travel with Swampert in front and switch Cofagrigus in only for the selected encounter. That makes fleeing unwanted encounters safer. For Route 3, I’ll use Drapion and Arcanine for the dangerous opening matchups and avoid triggering a cave collapse with Earthquake.
Preparation is finished: Cofagrigus is at 210 HP, and the party is ready to travel. I’m now moving through the mountain with longer queued paths; the helper handles Surf and ice slides and stops if the position or dialogue differs from the plan.
The ice route is working, including the diagonal exit. The recorder has restarted a few times; the input guard stops controls during each interruption. I’m adding automatic position checks after recording recovers so those interruptions don’t require restarting the route manually.
I’ve reached Aya at the blocked Ametrine passage. Next I’ll follow the bridge scenes that bring her into the party, then head through Route 3’s caves toward Calcenon.
I’m finishing the route into Route 3 and checking the plan for Charlotte’s opening pair. The key is to establish Trick Room, then let Swampert attack before her fast Fire types. Wide Guard and Arcanine’s Flash Fire give us options as the field changes.
The mountain is cleared. A level-70 Delibird got through Repel, so I’ve put the faster Swoobat in front for travel. I’m entering Route 3 now and will pause for the next recording export at about 5:09.
The bridge scenes are underway. A recording restart paused the dialogue helper, so I’m making it resume from the visible line once capture recovers. I’ll finish Aya’s join scene, save, and export this hour before continuing.
Aya has joined, and that progress is saved and backed up. This recording has no measurable capture gap. I’m checking the trimmed video and music, then I’ll resume with the first Route 3 cave and collect the Ground Gem for Charlotte.
The latest hour is published, and recording has resumed. I’m checking how the cave’s diagonal stairs move the player so the route helper can cross them reliably, then continuing toward the Meteor fights.
The stair check confirmed the issue, and the route helper is fixed. I’ve collected the Ground Gem, an extra Hyper Potion, and a Max Elixir. Next I’m picking up the nearby experience candy and moving into the first Meteor fight.
I’m continuing through Route 3 toward Charlotte. I’ll keep recording, check the remaining usage as we go, and leave enough time to finish the videos and verify the save before quitting.
Aya’s bridge dialogue interrupted the queued route safely. I’m clearing it and continuing into the caves. I also found a short scene-music change missing from the previous recording; I’ll fix that during the next video pass.
The EXP Candy XL is collected. Drapion will lead the first Meteor battle: it resists Lickilicky’s Power Whip, and its physical attacks avoid Corsola’s Mirror Coat. I’ve also extended the movement queues and added a helper to track trainer battle music.
We’re through Aya’s warning and approaching the first pair of grunts. I’ll avoid Earthquake in these caves: repeated ground attacks can collapse the battlefield, so Surf and direct attacks will be safer here.
Lickilicky is down, and Drapion has taken only modest damage. Marowak has used one Earthquake, so I’m bringing in Swampert to remove it with Surf before it can trigger a cave collapse.
The first pair is beaten. Swampert removed Marowak, and Aya helped finish Dusclops. Next I’m heading through the control room to the next pair and the PC, where Mienfoo can rejoin the party.
We’ve reached the LCCC control room. The missing Clawitzer scene music has been restored in the existing progress video without re-encoding the footage. I’m opening the route onward and checking the party at the PC.
The PC is in a section we can’t reach yet, so I’m following the cave route onward. Aya restores the team after each fight. Arcanine will lead the next pair to remove Lurantis quickly; I’ll still avoid Earthquake here.
The next Meteor battle is starting. Arcanine will focus on Antoine’s side while Aya handles the ground types. The recording is healthy; its input guard has paused control during brief capture restarts.
Antoine’s whole side is down. Arcanine took damage from Earthquake and priority moves, so I’m giving it one recovery turn before finishing Diggersby and the remaining Pokémon.
Diggersby used a second Earthquake before Arcanine could recover, collapsing the cave and knocking out both leads and itself. We still have five healthy Pokémon, and Aya has reserves. Swampert is coming in to finish Golem and Venomoth.
Venomoth put Swampert to sleep and used Quiver Dance twice. Swampert is awake now, and Aya has put Venomoth to sleep. I’m switching to physical Rock Slide to finish it.
Vileplume knocked out Swampert with Giga Drain. The battle helper continued because Golem was still an approved opponent; I’ve added an explicit stop for dangerous matchups. Arcanine is now coming in to remove Vileplume.
Arcanine and Aya’s Lycanroc have cleared Machamp and Salazzle. Only Purugly and Manectric remain. After this fight I’m collecting the X Defend on Route 3 and continuing to the final pair of grunts.
Kenan and Diana are beaten, and Aya has restored the team. Swampert remains our lead for the next fight: Surf avoids the rocky field’s defensive boosts and hits Mamoswine and Minior effectively.
Surf has removed Minior immediately. The route check also confirms the PC will be reachable after the next cave. I’m reserving the Heart Scales on Route 4 for Mienshao’s Wide Guard and Fake Out before Charlotte.
Rock Slide and Aya’s Sludge Bomb removed Golisopod, and Mudsdale flinched. I’m switching back to Surf for the remaining ground type. The recording is nearing an hour, so I’ll pause and process it after this fight.
Only Lumineon remains. I’m using Rock Slide now that Aya has Lycanroc on the field, so Surf won’t damage our ally. Then I’ll reach the PC, save, and process the hour’s recording.
The final pair is beaten. The route helper stopped at the hop rocks, whose diagonal movement events use different names from the earlier stairs. I’m checking those edges before crossing, then pausing for the recording export.
All four grunt pairs are cleared, and the checkpoint is saved. I’ve paused to export the hour’s recording. Before resuming movement, I’m checking the hop-rock offset: the route model appears to place the landing one tile short.
The hour’s video is verified and stitched into the Gym 11 progress archive in Desktop/bin/reborn. It has no measurable capture gap, and the reviewed frames show only the game. I’m starting the next recording and testing the hop.
The hop lands correctly; crossing it changes which level is walkable. I’ve updated the navigation notes for that transition and am continuing through the third cave to the PC.
Mienfoo is ready to join from storage. I’m putting Ampharos in the box for this segment, evolving Mienfoo, and giving it experience during the next fight. Drapion will also learn Brick Break to remove Aster and Eclipse’s screens.
Mienfoo has evolved into Mienshao. I’m moving the Exp. Share from Drapion to it and using the remaining candies to raise its level. Ampharos is safely boxed with its Quick Claw.
Mienshao is now level 60 with the Exp. Share. Drapion’s Brick Break is the last preparation before the power-station fight. I’ll focus on Aster’s side first and use Brick Break if their screens go up.
I’m finishing the move change and checkpoint. Aster and Eclipse have ten Pokémon between them, so the team is fully healed. I’m keeping the Ground Gem in the bag for Charlotte.
Drapion’s move replacement is going through. I’m clearing the learning messages, then saving the new roster before entering the power-station fight.
The Route 3 grunt battles are cleared. I’m now fighting Aster and Eclipse, then heading for the Heart Scales and Wide Guard setup planned for Charlotte. Recording is running, and I’ll leave enough usage to finish the videos and verify the final save and quit.
Drapion broke both screens, and Aya finished Solrock. I’m switching Swampert in against Krookodile; after the fight, the next priorities are Route 4’s Heart Scales, Telluric Seeds, and Mienshao’s support moves.
Lunatone froze Swampert on the switch, so I’m clearing that before attacking. Aya has sent out Lycanroc; I’ll use Rock Slide while it’s beside us, since Surf would hit our ally too.
Swampert went down, but Cofagrigus has burned Krookodile and Aya’s Lycanroc removed Lunatone. That cuts the incoming physical damage and leaves us a useful matchup for the next pair.
Oranguru’s Normal typing blocks Shadow Ball, so I’m changing that plan. Aya has put it to sleep, giving Cofagrigus an opening to set Trick Room and bring Mienshao in against Krookodile.
Trick Room is up, and Mienshao is coming in while Oranguru sleeps. The recording is still healthy; I’m also checking the turbo shortcut so battle animations can run faster.
Mienshao removed Krookodile and reached level 61. Golurk is in now, so I’m healing Cofagrigus for the Ghost matchup. I’ve also added a guard that stops queued attacks when the game reports a move immunity.
Cofagrigus is back at full health and is handling Golurk. I’m keeping the remaining turns focused on Aster’s side so we can turn this into a two-on-one fight.
Turbo is now confirmed on, and the turns are moving much faster. Golurk and Passimian are down. Aster has only Lycanroc left, so I’m restoring Swampert for that matchup.
Lycanroc knocked out Cofagrigus before Will-O-Wisp landed. Swampert is restored, and I’m topping up its health while Aya’s Drapion attacks; its Rock resistance is our best way through this last Aster Pokémon.
Arcanine is using Extreme Speed to chip Lycanroc. Once it’s removed, Swoobat can set up against Milotic for Eclipse’s remaining team. I’m handling these last turns individually rather than queuing through the matchup changes.
Aster’s side is cleared. Drapion finished Lycanroc and survived Milotic’s Blizzard. Swoobat is coming in now for the Calm Mind setup against Eclipse’s three remaining Pokémon.
Swoobat has all three Calm Minds up and is being healed before the cleanup. I’ve also verified the form-specific opponent stats, including both Lycanroc forms and Charlotte’s Rotom Heat, so future damage planning uses the correct defenses and speeds.
Milotic is down. For the faster Day Lycanroc, I’m using the X Defend we collected: Swoobat’s Simple ability doubles that Defense boost too. That gives it a much better chance to survive Rock Slide and finish the fight.
The Defense boost worked: Swoobat survived Rock Slide and removed Day Lycanroc. Vileplume is the last opponent. The queued cleanup will then handle the story scene and make a verified save; I’m logging the scene’s music fade for the archive too.
Aster and Eclipse are beaten on the first attempt, and the story checkpoint is saved. Next I’ll collect Route 4’s setup items and reach Calcenon’s Pokémon Center, then pause for the hourly recording export.
The factory has two separate exit corridors; I’m taking the one that reaches the eastern cave. We’re near the recording’s one-hour mark, so I’ll export this segment before continuing onto Route 4.
Gameplay is paused and the hour’s recording is processing into the trimmed 4× version with normal-tempo music. We still have 67% usage remaining. The shortcut to the Circus can be created now; I’m checking when the bridge repair becomes available so the relearning trip is planned.
The new footage is verified and stitched into the Gym 11 progress video, now 31:46. Used partial files are removed, and a fresh recording is running. The bridge repair is gated until Charlotte is beaten, so I’ll plan the Heart Scale trip through the existing caves.
I’m collecting the two Heart Scales next. Both go to Mienshao: Wide Guard replaces Bounce, and Fake Out replaces Quick Guard. I’m also picking up Telluric Seeds for Cofagrigus’s Charlotte opening.
The Route 4 item queue is running, with trainer sight lines accounted for. I also fixed the OCR handling for “Repel wore off” messages, so future renewals can continue without stopping the movement queue.
Odin caught us on the lower path. His installed team is one Snorlax; I’m bringing in Mienshao for High Jump Kick, then continuing the item route. The higher-level Ranger battle remains off our path.
Both Heart Scales are collected. Mienshao beat Odin’s Snorlax with one High Jump Kick, though it took an Earthquake on the switch. I’m moving the healthy Drapion back to the lead for travel, then collecting the seeds and reaching Calcenon.
The first Telluric Seed is collected. The second is beyond the currently accessible path, and one is enough for Charlotte’s setup. I’m heading toward Calcenon’s Pokémon Center now.
We’ve reached the Calcenon gate and its Hardy scene. I’m finishing that dialogue and healing at the Pokémon Center. The archive helper is also prepared and checked against Samson’s published fight, so Charlotte’s winning attempt can be appended with the correct team panel and attempt count.
I’m continuing from Calcenon, with a short team adjustment at the Circus before Charlotte. I’ll keep the recording running and reserve enough usage to finish the videos and verify a save-and-quit.
Mienshao’s Wide Guard is the key adjustment for Charlotte’s double battle. I’m returning for that and Fake Out, then setting up Cofagrigus and Swampert for Trick Room and Ground attacks.
The team is healed, and I’m using the known cave route back through Route 3. The next recording checkpoint is coming up; I’ll archive this segment before starting Charlotte’s gym.
The return trip is progressing without battles. I’m checking the cave connections ahead while the movement queue runs, so the team adjustment won’t become a long stop-and-inspect detour.
The factory splits the caves into separate levels, so I’m following its connections rather than treating nearby entrances as interchangeable. I’ve checked the return route against the installed maps.
Charlotte’s plan is ready: Wide Guard covers spread attacks while Cofagrigus sets Trick Room, then Swampert attacks the slower side of the speed order. Arcanine’s Flash Fire gives us a useful fallback if the opening doesn’t go as planned.
The return uses the western factory exit, and the ladder can now create a permanent shortcut to the Circus. That will shorten later trips once Calcenon’s bridge is repaired.
The Circus return is mapped out, including the elevator. I’ll learn both moves in one visit, save the updated party once, and head straight back to Calcenon.
The party remains healthy, and the route has only needed the occasional Repel renewal. I’m nearing the hourly recording break; this segment will be trimmed and added to the Gym 11 journey before I resume.
The recorder has recovered automatically from several capture interruptions, and the controls pause whenever capture drops. I’ll check the finished segment’s duration and decode before deleting its temporary files.
I’m at the western Route 3 caves now. I’ll pause at the next safe exit for the recording checkpoint, then finish the Circus visit.
I’m taking the recording checkpoint at the Circus shortcut. The team changes are next, and I’ll capture them in a fresh segment.
The shortcut and current progress are saved. Gameplay is paused while the hour’s footage is being trimmed and given its normal-speed music.
The hour retained about 25 minutes of active footage, producing a little over six minutes at 4× speed. Its raw duration matches the recording time closely, and the music timeline is ready for the final verification.
The segment is published in the Reborn folder and has passed the full video check. I’m starting the next recording and heading to the move relearner.
The shortcut works, and I’m on the Circus side. After the move changes, Calcenon has a short story sequence before the gym puzzle; I’ve checked that sequence and the puzzle solutions ahead of time.
I’m at the Circus and using the two Heart Scales collected on Route 4. Mienshao will replace Bounce with Wide Guard and Quick Guard with Fake Out.
The relearner’s booth needs a counter interaction, so I’m checking its reachable side before proceeding. The move-selection helper will verify each move’s name before accepting it.
The booth is reachable from its left side. I’ve added counter detection to the event helper, which will also simplify nurse and vendor interactions later.
A Repel message coincided with a capture restart, so the route stopped safely. I’m clearing that message and finishing the move changes, then continuing the return queue.
A map obstacle is blocking the booth’s only reachable side. I’m checking the current game state so the queue can use the correct approach instead of repeatedly walking into it.
Wide Guard is selected and confirmed. I’m finishing that swap, teaching Fake Out, and then sending the party back through the shortcut.
Wide Guard is learned. Fake Out is the last change; then I’ll restore a level-70 lead for Repel travel and save the updated movesets before leaving.
Both moves are learned, and the updated party is being saved. I’m returning to Calcenon now; the recording has enough time left to cover the gym approach and likely the Charlotte battle.
The new movesets are saved, with Drapion restored as the travel lead. I’ve queued the full return to Calcenon, including the elevator, ladder, caves, and Route 4.
The return queue is running. I also validated all three gym puzzle solutions against the installed maps: each covers every required tile once, with coordinate checks built into the execution script.
I’m back on Route 3. Charlotte’s archive entry is prepared with her exact installed team, and I’m also checking the PULSE encounter after the badge so the next segment has a plan ready.
The three gym trainers will use Swampert’s Earthquake; the field weakens Surf, so Ground is the cleaner option. I’m batching the puzzle-and-trainer sequence, with stops for unexpected battle states.
The return reached the eastern factory doors. A capture interruption stopped one transfer, so I’m checking which side of the door the game reached before continuing.
The game reached the correct side of the interrupted door, and the queue is continuing through Route 4. The transfer helper now verifies the destination after a capture restart, which should reduce these interruptions.
I’m nearly back in Calcenon. The return has stayed clear of trainers, and the next queue handles the story scene before starting the gym puzzles.
Calcenon’s story is underway. I’ve added a contingency for Charlotte’s Reflect: protect Swampert from Volcarona’s Giga Drain while we bring Arcanine into the battle.
The gym queue is running. I’ve also covered the opening where Mienshao survives: it keeps using Wide Guard until we get a safe replacement, rather than exposing Swampert during a switch.
Iroh is defeated, with Swampert still at full health. The battle helper stopped a little early in the reward sequence because of an OCR quirk; I’m clearing that and continuing to the next two trainers.
The second puzzle and trainer are underway. Once the third trainer is cleared, I’ll heal Swampert, equip the two battle items, and take the fresh party snapshot for Charlotte’s archive panel.
The last Repel expired during the puzzle, so I’m canceling it inside the gym and resuming from the exact tile reached. I’ll finish the trainers, archive this hour, and start Charlotte in a fresh recording.
Karus is defeated. Swampert took some damage, so I’m adding a Hyper Potion contingency for Nova before the final trainer battle.
All three gym trainers are defeated, and that progress is saved. I’m pausing to finish this recording; Charlotte’s battle will be in the next segment with a fresh team snapshot.
This recording is clean and verified: about 40 minutes of active footage became ten minutes at 4× speed. I’m adding it to the Gym 11 journey, then starting the Charlotte attempt.
The new recording is running. I’m finishing the item swaps and topping off Swampert before the save; then I’ll take Charlotte’s opening turn.
Swampert is fully healed. The pre-battle check will verify the held items, Wide Guard and Fake Out slots, and the lead pair before starting the attempt.
The team check passed, and Charlotte’s first attempt has started. I’m setting the archive boundary at the actual battle introduction so her opening story dialogue stays in the journey video.
The opening worked: Wide Guard blocked Eruption, Trick Room is active, and Cofagrigus survived. Mienshao fainted, giving Swampert a free replacement; I’m attacking both leads now.
Both leads are down. Cofagrigus fell during the next exchange, so Arcanine is in; I’m healing Swampert and finishing the weakened Delphox before handling Volcarona.
I’m continuing the Charlotte battle, then I’ll keep progressing while reserving enough usage to finish the recordings and save and quit cleanly.
Delphox is down. Arcanine is still at full health; I’m protecting Swampert from Ninetales’s Solar Beam while Arcanine finishes Rotom.
Rotom’s Volt Switch brought Volcarona straight into Arcanine’s Flamethrower, which knocked it out. Only Ninetales and the weakened Rotom remain.
Ninetales is the last opponent. I’m healing Arcanine and finishing the fight, then collecting Dive and opening the shortcut back to the circus before heading into the mountain.
Charlotte is beaten on the first attempt. Arcanine finished the battle after the rest of the team fell. I’m saving the eleventh badge and processing this recording into both archives before continuing.
The badge is safely saved. The recording has no measurable capture gap, and the edit is removing the long planning pauses while retaining the battle turns. I’m preparing the Dive route during the export.
The complete Gym 11 video is published. Charlotte’s winning battle is now being added to the major-fights compilation. A fresh recording is running as I heal the party and collect Dive.
The route script has hit a loop around an obstacle in Calcenon. I’m stopping that queue and correcting the path before proceeding; the save and recordings are intact.
The movement issue was turbo: Reborn automatically restores normal speed after a battle, so my extra toggle turned it on again. That’s corrected, and the party is healed. I’m also checking a timestamp warning at an old video join before publishing the updated compilation.
Dive is acquired, and we have 64% usage remaining. Next I’m opening the paid shortcut and using its candy cache to bring Mienshao closer to the new level cap. The next major encounter is PULSE Avalugg, so I’m preparing for its recovery and heavy physical attacks.
Both Gym 11 and the 21-fight victory compilation are verified and published, and their used source clips have been removed. I’m keeping Swampert’s Protect intact by checking whether a boxed Pokémon can carry Dive for the mountain section.
The $40,000 repair is paid and the shortcut is opening. Buizel can learn Dive, so it will temporarily take Drapion’s slot; Swampert will keep its battle moves. I’m mapping the underwater connections before entering.
The shortcut and candy cache are complete. I’m making the temporary Dive swap now, then heading directly for the PULSE inside the iceberg.
The Dive route is mapped: two dives with a surface crossing between them lead into the iceberg. The temporary Buizel swap is complete, and I’m finishing its HM and the candy training before departure.
The menus are misreading a few labels, so I’ve tightened the helpers for Dive and XL candy to avoid repeated scans. Buizel now knows Dive; the remaining preparation is candy training, held items, and supplies.
Mienshao is now level 70 with Wide Guard and Fake Out retained. The team is fully healed, and Cofagrigus and Swampert are getting their usual damage-boosting items back before the mountain trip.
Supplies are being restocked. The next queue covers the shortcut, surfing, ice crossings, and both Dive transitions, and will stop at a saved checkpoint immediately before PULSE Avalugg.
I’m continuing through Ametrine Mountain toward the next PULSE fight. I’ll keep the recordings rolling, check usage as we go, and finish with a verified save and quit before the remaining usage reaches 5%.
The team is healed, Dive is ready, and the repaired Calcenon shortcut is open. For PULSE Avalugg, I’m using Cofagrigus’s physical bulk and Destiny Bond to get past its extreme defenses, then heading to Ametrine City.
The underwater route is working, and the next fight is fully planned. I’ll end this recording at the saved prebattle checkpoint, so the Avalugg fight stays together in the next recording.
We’ve reached Avalugg’s chamber. I’m saving the prepared team and rotating the recording now; the next segment will begin with the fight.
The prebattle save is verified, with all six Pokémon healthy. While the video exports, I’m checking the city sequence ahead, including the choices needed to keep the exclusive postgame route available.
The previous segment is now archived with its music, and recording has resumed. Avalugg’s first attempt is starting with Cofagrigus in front; I’ll check its response before committing to Destiny Bond.
Cofagrigus survived Avalanche with 34 HP, as planned. Destiny Bond is now selected before Avalugg’s next attack; that should trade Cofagrigus for the PULSE while leaving the rest of the party healthy.
PULSE Avalugg is defeated on the first attempt. The blocked route has opened, and Shelly’s scene is playing. Next I’ll heal Cofagrigus in Ametrine City and restore a full combat lineup.
The mountain route is queued through the ice puzzles. I’m also checking Ametrine’s story triggers and PC access so we can handle the city sequence and team changes without repeated backtracking.
The ice route is progressing correctly. Before the next combat stretch, I’ll put Drapion back in Buizel’s slot; Buizel has done its job carrying Dive through the mountain.
The winning Avalugg fight is logged for the major-fights archive. I’ve also marked the pause at its victory screen for trimming, so the archive will keep the battle and ending without the waiting time.
We’re in Ametrine City now, heading to Shelly and the Pokémon Center. The next section combines story investigation with partnered Meteor battles, so I’m checking those encounters before we leave town.
Shelly’s arrival scene is complete, and the route to the Pokémon Center is queued. I’ll heal there, restore Drapion, then work through the investigation dialogue in one planned circuit.
The Pokémon Center is reached. I’m healing and restoring Drapion now, then I’ll follow the short route through the town’s required conversations and the abandoned house.
The party is healed, and Drapion is selected in storage. I’m putting it back into the active team before the investigation circuit; the later Terra fight will get its own preparation around the Glitch Field.
Drapion is back, and Buizel is safely stored. I’ve extended the route helper to handle Ametrine’s ice tiles, which should make the town circuit more reliable.
The town circuit has collected Stardust and a Big Pearl, and the required conversations are underway. I’m also collecting the nearby Tiny Mushroom for a later quest before the abandoned-house scene.
One townsman had wandered away from the map’s starting position, and the dialogue helper mistook the snow for a text box. I stopped that loop and am tightening the guard before continuing the conversations.
The helper now distinguishes snow from dialogue, and I’m using the fixed story NPCs for this circuit. The unsuccessful interaction loop is being excluded from the recording.
The fixed conversations are working, and the party remains fully healed. The next scene gives the Gravity Battle Pass and leads into Blake’s apartment, where I’ll refuse his deal three times to preserve the exclusive postgame route.
The circuit is continuing across the rink and nearby items. I’ve checked Blake’s apartment puzzle as well: the required key pieces, disc, cable, and password sequence are all mapped out.
The Tiny Mushroom is collected, and the abandoned-house scene is underway. After Blake and Heather’s story sequence, I’ll prepare for Terra’s field rules, especially how they change special damage and move types.
The abandoned-house scene is complete, and we have the Gravity Battle Pass. Shelly is now learning where Blake lives; the next queued step is the apartment’s three refusal choices.
We’re in Blake’s apartment, with the refusal sequence queued explicitly. I’ve also verified Terra’s and the later Mewtwo encounter’s exact teams from the installed game data, so preparation will match this version.
All three refusals are confirmed. Blake has taken the ring and revealed that Heather is locked away; I’m finishing this scene, then meeting Cal and opening the hidden passage.
Blake’s scene is finished. I’m meeting Cal now, then following the prepared clue sequence to the hidden passage. This recording will be finalized before the hour is up, including the Avalugg victory in the major-fights archive.
Cal’s scene started automatically as we left the apartment. I’m continuing it now, then returning upstairs for the hidden-passage puzzle. The three-refusal route is confirmed by this scene.
The apartment clues are progressing correctly: the key is assembled, and the cabinet and console are next. I’m close to the password prompt, then I’ll save and rotate the recording.
The computer has power and the program disc. I’m entering the verified password, then saving at the opened passage and finalizing this hour’s recording.
The password worked, the passage is open, and the save is verified. The recording stopped within the hour and is exporting now. I’ll publish the cleaned journey segment and Avalugg victory, then resume toward Heather.
The journey export is verified, and the Avalugg footage includes both turns and the victory. I’m checking its opening frame and team panel before publishing it to the cumulative archive.
I’m finishing the Avalugg footage, then continuing from Blake’s hidden passage toward Heather and Terra. I’ll leave enough usage for the final video cleanup and a verified save-and-quit.
Avalugg’s battle is complete in the footage. I’m correcting the clip’s opening so the archive includes the introduction, then resuming the mountain story.
The Avalugg victory is now added to the major-fight archive, with both teams and the attempt count. I’m following the refusal route we preserved; the next stretch is Heather’s rescue and the Meteor climb.
The passage route is queued and recording normally. For the climb, I’ve checked each trainer lineup and partner change, so I can use longer action sequences while stopping at the matchups that need a decision.
Heather’s rescue is underway. Before Terra, I’ll strengthen Cofagrigus’s defenses and train the available Ice specialist; the Glitch Field changes how stats and move types work, so this stretch needs more preparation than the previous gyms.
Heather is safe, and the Flying Memory is collected. I’m moving into the first Meteor double battle now; Cal is the partner for this part of our route.
The return route uses the hidden passage because Heather’s cliff is separated from the main city. I’ve queued the trip back, and the battle plan accounts for the partner healing our party after each Meteor fight.
The first pair is engaged. Mienshao is targeting the Alolan Raticate with High Jump Kick, while Cal handles the other side; I’ll adjust when the reserves come out.
The first pair is nearly cleared. I’m letting Cal finish the remaining Manectric while Swampert protects, then moving straight to Devin and Sanchez.
Bruno and Ray are defeated, and the party is fully healed. The next route is queued; I’m also tightening the stair handling so these long mountain walks need fewer inspections.
Devin and Sanchez are now engaged. I’m using Arcanine against their opening Bug Pokémon, with a planned switch when their Rock and Psychic reserves appear.
The second pair’s Rock leads are down. I also fixed a helper that lingered on level-up screens, and added a trim pass for those pauses so they won’t inflate the finished recording.
The second pair is at its final reserves. Cofagrigus is taking over for Swampert so Accelgor’s Grass attack and Seismitoad’s Water Absorb don’t derail the cleanup. I’ll rotate the recording after this fight.
Devin and Sanchez are defeated on the first try. I’m saving this checkpoint and processing the hour’s footage before continuing the climb with Shelly.
The checkpoint is saved with all six Pokémon healed and the refusal route intact. The export is trimming confirmed pauses and restoring the area and battle music at normal tempo.
The next pair opened with two Blizzards. Cofagrigus got Trick Room up; I’m checking its health before choosing the next move so the slower side can take control.
The climb toward Terra is underway, and the Avalugg victory is archived. I’m continuing through the remaining battles, checking usage periodically, and reserving time at the end to finish the videos and verify the save before quitting.
The paired battles are giving us a free heal after each victory. I’m using those heals to conserve supplies, then returning to the circus to prepare a team for Terra’s Glitch Field.
Terra’s field changes the damage rules enough that I’m checking the installed battle code alongside the walkthrough. Cryogonal looks useful there; I’m also planning better physical bulk on Cofagrigus and a way to remove the opponents’ defensive setups.
Another pair is down. A few level-up messages are confusing the text reader, so I’m tightening that handler to clear them promptly and avoid leaving the game waiting between actions.
Blake’s battle is a double fight, with Gyarados and Mamoswine leading. After the remaining Meteor pairs, I’ll bring Ampharos back in: it can remove Gyarados while Mienshao’s Wide Guard protects against spread attacks.
Wide Guard is working well on the mountain: it’s blocking the dangerous spread moves while Shelly’s Yanmega attacks. That gives us a useful, repeatable approach for these pairs and for Blake’s opener.
The opponents are mixing in single-target attacks, which bypass Wide Guard. I’m switching to direct knockouts now, starting with Mamoswine. We still have five healthy Pokémon available and the post-battle heal.
Drapion has removed Jellicent, and Shelly has cleared Liepard and Mightyena. I’m keeping Swampert out of Lurantis’s Grass attacks so it remains available for the Rock types still in reserve.
The remaining team is mostly physical attackers. I’m using Swampert’s bulk and healing while Shelly attacks, then switching at the dangerous matchups. Before Blake, I’ll heal, restock and set the opening pair explicitly.
Drapion got Tyranitar before it could act. That leaves Diggersby, Venomoth and Aerodactyl on this side; I’m using the faster attackers and Cofagrigus’s support to finish the fight.
Cofagrigus burned Diggersby successfully, so Swoobat can finish it with much less risk. I’ve also checked the summit route: Aster’s Waterfall battle comes before Blake, with a healing shard inside the cave.
Aerodactyl is burned now, and Cofagrigus has enough health to attack. I’m finishing these last two opponents, then taking the hourly recording break and setting up the next climb.
Aerodactyl’s Roost is prolonging the fight. Cofagrigus is handling it safely while it uses up those recovery turns. The recording is approaching the hourly cutoff, so I’m ready to rotate it at the next command screen if the fight is still going.
I’m pausing at the battle command screen for the hourly export. Venomoth is the last opponent. This fight will continue in the next recording, and I’ve accounted for the music across the split.
The hour’s export has reduced to about four minutes at 4× speed, with idle time removed and music added. There’s plenty of usage remaining; I’ll resume once the combined archive passes verification.
The new recording is running, and the archive passed its full decode check. Venomoth has used Quiver Dance twice. I’m using Trick Room to let Cofagrigus act first, then Destiny Bond to handle the boosted damage.
Venomoth knocked out Cofagrigus before Trick Room could go up. I’m using Arcanine’s Extreme Speed to get damage in ahead of it; this last opponent is still dangerous at +2.
Arcanine’s priority attacks left Venomoth nearly defeated. Swoobat is now fully healed for the last attempt to finish it. If this fight is lost, I’ll return with a stronger opening plan for the rematch.
Swoobat survived the hit and won the fight. That was close, but the pair is cleared and the party gets a full heal. I’m saving this milestone, bringing Ampharos back, and continuing to the last pair with the boosted Venomoth lesson in mind.
The return walk is queued through the mountain stairs, with position checks between longer sections. After the PC swap, I’ll buy more healing supplies and head back up for Ricardo and Hilda, then Aster and Blake.
I found Reborn’s detailed battle logs in its save folder. I’m checking whether they update during fights; if they do, scripts can use exact health and stat changes and spend less time reconstructing them from screenshots.
Ampharos is back in the party, and the other PC contents are restored and verified. The logs are useful for battle review, though they can lag during a turn, so I’ll keep using the screen to confirm decisions. I’m restocking now.
The party swap is complete. I’m topping up healing supplies before returning to the climb, and I’m setting Cofagrigus to lead the next pair so we can control turn order early.
I’m continuing from the Ametrine supply stop, with the recording running. I’ll clear the remaining mountain battles, prepare for Terra, and leave enough usage to finish the videos and verify a save+quit.
The party is healed and restocked. Ampharos is back in for Blake’s Gyarados, and I’m using Cofagrigus to establish Trick Room in the remaining double battles. The mountain detour also confirmed that a few setup threats need to be removed promptly; I’ve adjusted the battle scripts to stop for those matchups.
I’m also preparing the Terra changes now: Cryogonal for Ice coverage and Haze, Roar on Arcanine to remove the seed-backed setup walls, and more physical defense on Cofagrigus for the Mewtwo fight. The installed rosters and field rules are driving those choices.
The last Meteor pair is starting now. I’ll rotate the recording at the next command menu, then continue to Aster and Blake. There is ample usage left—about 60%—so Terra remains the next milestone, not the stopping point.
The first recording hour is complete, so I’ve paused at a battle command menu while the footage is trimmed and given its music track. The Meteor pair has four Pokémon left; the party still has its remaining counters available.
Swampert’s Rock Slide removed Minior and helped finish Druddigon. I’m keeping the next exchange short: heal Swampert, then use Earthquake against Carracosta and Scolipede while Shelly provides the second attack.
Carracosta’s boosted Blizzard hit harder than the healing could cover. I’m switching to Arcanine to absorb the Ice attack and remove Scolipede, then using Mienshao against Carracosta. This keeps the remaining team out of repeated spread-damage exchanges.
Carracosta has now used Shell Smash. Mienshao’s Wide Guard will cover its spread attacks once Mienshao enters; I’m using Arcanine’s priority attack first so Scolipede cannot simply outrun the next counter.
Wide Guard gave Shelly an opening to remove Scolipede. I’m preserving that protection against Carracosta’s boosted attacks while the remaining bulky opponents come in; Ampharos and Swoobat are still healthy for Crobat and Chesnaught.
Ampharos removed Carracosta, so the boosted spread attacks are gone. It is now pressuring Aggron and Crobat together; Swoobat is reserved for Chesnaught.
All five mountain Meteor pairs are cleared, and the game is saved with the party fully healed. Next is Aster’s Waterfall battle, followed by Blake. I also verified Ampharos’s actual moves after returning it from storage, so the next plan uses Light Screen and Thunder Wave alongside Discharge.
Aster’s battle is underway. After Waterfall, the nearby Light Shard will heal the party before Blake. I’ve mapped the summit exit and return route as well, so the next travel sequence can run in a longer queue.
Solrock is down. I’m setting Trick Room against Krookodile before bringing in Mienshao; that avoids asking Mienshao to survive a faster Earthquake. The battle scripts will pause when Aster changes to a different matchup.
Mienshao missed High Jump Kick, so Swampert finished Krookodile instead. Passimian is next; I’m using Cofagrigus’s Fighting immunity and physical bulk to stabilize this part of the fight before the two Lycanroc.
Cofagrigus traded with Passimian using Destiny Bond. I’m restoring Swampert’s health before the remaining Ground and Rock matchups; it is the main finisher for this battle.
Swampert is fully healed for Golurk and the Lycanroc. The icy spikes are damaging Aster’s replacements too, which puts them in range of Surf. I’m adding a stop for Swords Dance so the healing loop cannot continue blindly if Lycanroc sets up.
Swampert’s Defense dropped during the Lycanroc exchanges, and the last Throat Chop knocked it out despite the heal. Arcanine is the remaining Pokémon. I’m checking the current field and seed effects before taking this final exchange; if this attempt fails, I’ll retry with a revised endgame plan.
Arcanine survived Stone Edge. I’m using its five-PP limit to get through this exchange: restore HP through the remaining Stone Edges, then use Morning Sun to recover and Crunch to finish Lycanroc.
Arcanine has made it through the first four Stone Edges. The remaining PP and Lycanroc’s spike damage make this salvageable, so I’m continuing the current attempt rather than restarting.
The fourth Stone Edge was a critical hit and ended the attempt. I’ll reload the existing save and retry with a revised sequence: keep Mienshao and a healthy Swampert for the Lycanroc, and use the remaining Trick Room turn to remove Passimian promptly.
The reload restored the full party and supplies; no save progress was lost. I’m rotating the recording before the retry and omitting the failed attempt from the finished journey video. The revised sequence preserves fresh counters for Aster’s final two Pokémon.
The recording has been exported and verified, with the failed attempt removed. I’m starting the retry now. This time Cofagrigus will stay in against the burned Krookodile, preserving the healthy attackers for Aster’s remaining team.
Solrock switched out to Krookodile on this attempt. Cofagrigus is still at full health, so the burn-and-heal plan is intact. I’m letting that sequence run while preserving the rest of the party.
Krookodile is down, and Cofagrigus is still available. Aster has brought in the daytime Lycanroc next, so I’m using Mienshao’s Fake Out and High Jump Kick while keeping Swampert fresh for the other Lycanroc.
Swampert finished the daytime Lycanroc. Passimian is next, and Cofagrigus is ready for the Trick Room and Destiny Bond trade. I’m giving it enough health to survive the setup turn before committing.
Passimian is down. I’m restoring Swampert off the field before bringing it back in, and preserving Swoobat as a reserve. That also avoids carrying its earlier damage into the final Lycanroc matchup.
Golurk is in. I’m healing Swampert before its return, then using Protect to let Trick Room expire. Swampert naturally outspeeds Golurk, which makes the finishing Surf safer once the field returns to normal.
Golurk is down. Solrock is returning before the final Lycanroc, which gives me a safe opportunity to restore Swampert fully. Swoobat can set up while Solrock uses screens, and Swampert will take the last matchup with its Defense reset.
I’m resuming the current battle, then continuing toward the next badge. I’ll keep recording, plan from the walkthrough, and leave time near the usage limit to finish the videos and save+quit.
Aster’s last Pokémon is in. I’m using Arcanine’s priority attack to chip it through Light Screen, so the healthy Swampert can finish safely.
Aster is beaten on the second attempt, and Swampert reached level 74. Next is Blake’s double battle; I’m healing and setting up Cofagrigus plus Mienshao for Trick Room and Wide Guard before approaching him.
The mountain section is nearly cleared. After Blake, I’ll return to the Circus to restock and prepare for Terra’s Glitch Field, including defensive training for Cofagrigus and Cryogonal’s Haze.
Blake focused both attacks on Mienshao, but Cofagrigus got Trick Room up almost unharmed. I’m bringing in Swampert to attack before his leads while that speed advantage lasts.
The replacement menu selected Arcanine instead of Swampert. I’ve adjusted this turn to attack Mamoswine, and I’m checking the selection helper before the next switch.
The menu issue came from repeated movement input while battle speed-up was on. Shorter taps reached Swampert correctly; I’m also adding a check of the “Switch In” prompt so a wrong selection stops before confirmation.
Understood — I’ll stop after Terra, the next badge-awarding Gym Leader, then finish the recordings and save+quit.
Blake’s Earthquake and Avalanche knocked out both Swampert and Ampharos in one turn. The current team is short on bulk for this fight, so I’m going to train to the level cap and restock revives before retrying.
I’ve restored the save made after Aster’s victory, so Waterfall and all the completed mountain battles are preserved. I’m rotating the recording and trimming out the failed Blake attempt before the training trip.
The latest recording is trimmed, has normal-speed BGM, and is verified in the Reborn folder. I’m heading back to the Circus; the preparation will also cover Mewtwo and Terra, so this trip serves the next few major fights.
I found a nearby Synthetic Seed and one uncollected Heart Scale. I’m checking Cryogonal’s learnset and the other available supplies so the Terra plan only relies on things we can obtain now.
The return route crosses ice slides and a short Surf section. I’ve queued the remaining mountain transfers and the Circus approach, with checks at each map change.
I’m taking the ladder shortcut back to the Circus. The other entrance is blocked by a Strength boulder, so I’ve corrected the saved return route to avoid it.
I’m adding Cryogonal for the retry. Its Ground immunity and Freeze-Dry make it a useful answer to Blake’s Gyarados, and it will also give us Ice coverage for Terra.
I’m at the Circus approach now. I’ll restock, earn Exp. Candies from the repeatable trainer, and train the team to level 75 before returning to Blake.
Supplies are restocked: 14 Hyper Potions and two Cotton Candies. One revive was a free Circus gift. I also found a way to reuse Kricketune later — it learns Perish Song at level 50, giving us an answer to Terra’s two defensive walls.
The Circus trainer switched Castform as Ampharos came in. I’m handling those switches explicitly so the queued battle actions can adjust to the new opponent.
Amoonguss’s Spore has slowed the first training fight. Swoobat has a Calm Mind boost ready; I’m healing and curing it so Psychic can finish the fight.
The first Circus challenge is won. I’m using its five Exp. Candies to bring Arcanine and Cofagrigus to level 75, which should make the remaining training fights quicker.
The next challenge drew the same Castform team. I’m adjusting the opener so Swoobat can boost early and handle Amoonguss before another long Spore cycle.
Amoonguss is down, and Ampharos has beaten Swanna. I’m finishing the second challenge, then using its candies on Mienshao, Ampharos, and Swampert before the next recording rotation.
I’ll stop after Terra, the next gym leader, then finish the recordings and verify the save before quitting. I’m continuing the team preparation already underway for Blake and Terra.
I’m preparing Cryogonal for Blake’s doubles battle and Terra’s field. Kricketune’s Perish Song will also give us a way to deal with Terra’s defensive Pokémon. The latest recording segment is being trimmed and given music while training continues.
The next practice match is underway to earn the remaining experience candies. After that, I’ll finish the defensive training and return to Blake; Terra remains the stopping point.
The last exported segment passed a full decode check, and its capture duration matches the recording time. Training is continuing, with enough candy rewards expected from these final two practice wins.
One practice opponent, Choice Specs Porygon-Z, knocked out Mienshao on the switch. Cofagrigus is now in safely against its locked Normal attack. I’m adjusting the battle helper so it handles this matchup and missed switch announcements more reliably.
I checked the berry rules in the installed game: each berry removes 20 EVs, so the defensive preparation will cost less than planned. Cofagrigus is being trained to survive Mewtwo’s Psystrike, and Cryogonal is getting extra HP and Defense for Blake and Terra.
The candy rewards are now sufficient, so I’m ending the practice battles here. Next I’ll bring Cryogonal into the party, teach Kricketune Perish Song through leveling, and finish the defensive EV training before returning to Blake.
Cryogonal is coming out of storage now. I’m also turning the storage and training steps into reusable scripts, so the remaining preparation can run in longer, guarded batches.
The team changes are underway. The storage interface needed a couple of small control fixes; I’ve updated the helper to check the selected Pokémon before each swap. Cryogonal is now level 75 with its planned moves retained.
Kricketune reached level 49, one level short of Perish Song. There’s a guaranteed Rare Candy on the upcoming Glitch World route, so I’ll use that before Terra instead of doing another practice battle. The berry adjustments are complete.
The defensive training is now queued on Route 2. Each battle will credit both Cryogonal and Cofagrigus, with the helper stopping if it encounters an unexpected battle state. Afterward, I’ll heal and head back to Blake.
The first training batch is running through the remaining Repel steps before encounters can appear. I’m checking Terra’s Glitch Field mechanics during that time, so the battle plan accounts for its unusual type and Special-stat rules.
The first training battle increased both Pokémon’s intended EVs. I’ve moved to a denser grass strip to make the remaining encounters faster, and I’ll verify the saved EV totals at the end of the batch.
The denser grass is producing encounters faster, and both Pokémon are gaining the planned stats. I also found unnecessary waits in the battle helper after the game had already returned to the overworld, so I’m shortening those.
Cofagrigus’s Defense is close to the target. I’m using Hyper Potions for healing during battles because Lemonade’s 70 HP recovery can be too small against repeated attacks. I’ll rotate the recording at the hour mark while finishing training.
I’m rotating the recording now. The game will stay paused during the switch, then I’ll finish the remaining defensive training and continue toward Terra.
The target is Terra, the next gym leader. I’m finishing the defensive training for Blake and Terra, then I’ll save, quit, and finish the recordings after earning badge #12.
Cofagrigus is nearly at maximum Defense. Cryogonal is gaining HP alongside it; that bulk should help it survive Blake’s opening attacks and Terra’s stronger hits. Kricketune is already prepared for Terra’s defensive Pokémon.
The remaining training is queued in one script. It checks the saved EV totals at each phase so that missed battle text cannot cause us to stop early. After that, I’ll heal at the circus and return to Blake.
The saved stats confirm Cofagrigus’s Defense is complete. There’s only one Power Weight available, so I’m adjusting the item swaps to share it for the remaining training.
I hit a menu mismatch while transferring the held item. I’m correcting that helper before continuing; the completed training is safely saved.
The item transfer is working now. The next script handles the remaining training, then the elevator trip and free healing, so the game can keep moving without repeated manual routing.
The latest recording has been published and checked for game-only footage. Training is now in its final phase, and the route back to Blake is queued. The planned opening is Trick Room plus Freeze-Dry into Gyarados.
Cofagrigus’s saved Defense is now 278. I’ll replenish healing items at the circus before Blake, then keep Kricketune’s final level for the guaranteed Rare Candy in Terra’s Glitch World.
Cofagrigus now has its full HP and Defense investment, and its battle item is restored. Cryogonal needs one more HP gain and three Defense gains. Both will then be ready for the final stretch to Terra.
Cryogonal’s HP is now 268. The saved data also confirms Cofagrigus received a small extra EV after restoring Spell Tag; its completed HP and Defense are unchanged. I’m finishing the last three Defense gains and restoring move PP before the bosses.
Understood—Blake is the stopping point now. I’ll beat him, save and quit, then finish the recording without starting Terra’s section.
The final training fights are underway. Blake remains the stopping point, and I’ll finish his post-battle scene before saving so we resume from a clean story state next time.
Two of the three final training wins are done. The script will now finish the last one, heal, restock, and travel back to Blake. I’ll leave the party intact when we stop.
Training is complete and verified: Cryogonal has 268 HP and 122 Defense, while Cofagrigus has 226 HP and 278 Defense. I’m heading back to heal and take on Blake.
The team is ready, and the circus healing trip is in progress. After Blake, I’ll save at the end of his scene, close the game, and publish the trimmed recording with restored music.
The team is fully healed. I’m buying fresh Hyper Potions, then taking the mountain route directly to Blake. His battle and post-battle ride are the only story work left before saving and quitting.
Restocking is done: nine Hyper Potions are available. I’m returning through Route 2 and Ametrine Mountain to Blake’s cliff.
I’ve also marked the held-item menu detour for removal from the video. The recording will retain the training and battles, and the game is now on the return trip to Blake.
I’m crossing Route 2 now. The route script checks its position after jumps and ice sections, and the recording remains active throughout.
The Route 2 traversal is proceeding without encounters. Once I reach Blake, I’ll run the planned opening turn and reassess from the battle screen.
I’ve reached Ametrine Mountain and am following the surf and ice route. Blake’s scene ends with Cal’s ride back to the city; I’ll save there once the dialogue is finished.
I’m on Ametrine Mountain’s upper floors. The party is still fully healthy, and the queued route stops just below Blake so I can verify the leads before starting the fight.
The upper mountain route is nearly complete. Blake’s Gyarados is the first target; Freeze-Dry should remove it immediately while Cofagrigus sets Trick Room.
I’m back in Ametrine City. The route is taking the city’s connecting streets to the rooftop passage that leads to Blake.
The city route is past the earlier Meteor encounters. I’ll check that Cofagrigus and Cryogonal are leading when I reach Blake, then start the retry.
I’m at the rooftop passage now. The retry is ready to start as soon as the lead order and save are verified.
The retry is saved, with everyone at full health and Cofagrigus plus Cryogonal leading. I’m starting Blake now.
Gyarados is down, and Trick Room is active. Blake brought in Walrein; I’m burning Mamoswine and focusing Ice Beam on it so Ampharos can enter safely afterward.
Cofagrigus went down to the two physical attackers. Cryogonal is untouched, and Mamoswine has taken an Ice Beam. I’m bringing in Mienshao to stop Mamoswine with Fake Out while Cryogonal finishes it.
Mamoswine is down. Alolan Sandslash came in next; I’m using High Jump Kick on its fourfold Fighting weakness and setting Light Screen for Blake’s remaining special attackers.
Sandslash is down. Mienshao is low on HP, so I’m healing it before Weavile’s priority Ice Shard, then using High Jump Kick on Weavile’s fourfold weakness.
Weavile is down. Only Starmie and Walrein remain. I’m using Wide Guard against their spread attacks while Cryogonal targets Starmie with Freeze-Dry.
Starmie set Light Screen, and Mienshao has fallen. Ampharos is coming in to combine Discharge with Freeze-Dry and finish Starmie. Walrein is the last defensive obstacle after that.
Starmie is down, and Walrein is paralyzed. I’m restoring Cofagrigus to burn Walrein and help break through its defensive boosts. I’ll rotate the recording at the hour mark while the battle waits for input.
The recording has rotated cleanly. Walrein’s paralysis prevents a burn, so I’m using Destiny Bond instead. Cryogonal will recover while Cofagrigus comes back in.
Destiny Bond didn’t finish Walrein. It’s still paralyzed, and Cryogonal has good health. I’m checking the battle log and bringing Ampharos back for its Electric damage.
Ampharos is restored, and Freeze-Dry landed a critical hit on Walrein. I’m checking its remaining health so I can either finish it now or heal Ampharos for one more turn.
Ampharos needs a heal to withstand Avalanche after attacking Walrein. I’m pairing that heal with Discharge, then following with Discharge and Freeze-Dry together.
Walrein’s Avalanche took Ampharos down despite the heal. Swampert and Cryogonal are still healthy enough to finish. I’m using Protect to give Cryogonal a recovery turn, then resuming damage.
Earthquake and Freeze-Dry are steadily reducing Walrein’s health, and it lost a turn to paralysis. Both remaining Pokémon still have good health. I’m queuing the same combination for the finish.
Swampert has fallen, leaving Cryogonal to finish Walrein. Cryogonal is near full health and still has plenty of Freeze-Dry PP. The queued script now monitors its health and heals before it gets too low.
Cryogonal is holding its health while Walrein spends turns boosting or failing to move through paralysis. Freeze-Dry is still dealing enough damage to overcome Leftovers; I’m continuing the queued finish.
Walrein’s healing and three Stockpiles have turned this attempt into a PP stall. I’m reloading the pre-fight save, which preserves all the training, and moving Destiny Bond to turn two to remove Walrein before it boosts. This failed attempt will be cut from the recording.
I’ll finish at Blake, then save and quit. The retry plan targets Walrein early so it cannot drag the fight into another PP stall.
You’re right—I applied the victory-only rule to the wrong recordings. Full recordings should keep failed attempts; only the major-fights video should exclude them. I’ll restore the current failed attempts and check earlier exports for the same mistake.
The current raw recordings are still here, so this retry can be restored. Earlier raw files were deleted after export, though; the notes show that today’s first Aster loss and first Blake loss were cut before deletion. I’m checking for surviving copies, but I can’t yet promise those two are recoverable. That was my mistake.
The audit found two omitted attempts: the first losses against Aster and Blake. Their source files are gone from the project and output folder. The later Blake attempt is recoverable, and I’ve restored it to the export timeline. I’ve also recorded the rule explicitly: every attempt stays in the full recordings.
Walrein is down—the early Destiny Bond worked. That removes the wall that stopped the previous retry. The current failed attempt and this retry will both remain in the full recording.
Walrein is gone, but a missed High Jump Kick cost Mienshao. I’m using Swampert’s bulk and a revival to give the remaining attackers a protected turn against Sandslash.
Swampert and Ampharos are wearing down the remaining pair, with Arcanine still healthy in reserve. The restored recording is also rendering in the background, including the full failed retry and its battle music.
Sandslash has fallen too; only Weavile and Starmie remain. Arcanine is in, and Mienshao’s revival gives us a Fake Out to control the next turn.
Only Starmie remains. Cryogonal is back in for the finish; after the postbattle scene I’ll save, quit, and publish the recording with the recoverable failed attempt included.
Blake is defeated on attempt three. I’m finishing the Cal scene and saving, then I’ll quit the game and verify the final recording.
The save is verified in Ametrine City with Blake’s story completed and 11 badges. Reborn is now closed. I’m finishing the video checks, and I’ll retain these two raw sessions so they remain available for review.
The updated full recording is published: 1:06:49 at 4× speed with normal-speed music. It includes the recovered failed retry and Blake’s victory, and it passed frame-count and full-decode checks. The two earlier omitted losses could not be recovered; I’m retaining the current raw sources.
Blake defeated on attempt 3. Saved and quit before Terra.
Updated full recording: 1:06:49, trimmed at 4× with normal-speed music. The recovered failed retry is included, and current raw sources are retained.
I couldn’t restore the earlier Aster and first Blake losses—I had mistakenly cut them and deleted their sources.
